Sea Water Processing Project will Complete This Year

The project of processing sea water to be plain water in Karya Island, North Seribu Islands Sub-District.

There have been water well and warehouse, including pipeline, there are still pump and some installations left

Acting (Plt) of Seribu Islands Regency, Budi Utomo stated, currently it has been entering the step of warehouse construction and water reservoir tubs also water well located in the dock of Karya Island. 

"There have been water well and warehouse, including pipeline, there are still pump and some installations left," he explained, Monday (7/20).

The project, he continued, was stopped due to the city budget was not disbursed yet. "Hopefully the project will be done this year," he hoped. 

According to him, plain water or drink water needs in Seribu Islands  is very vital, citizens at this time using ground water which is little brackish, yet really helpful for the locals. 

By the processing installation of sea water to be plain water, citizens are no longer having  water difficulty for cooking needs.
